So there’s a problem with an application after an update. You email the company and ask for help. They fix the update in the next 24hrs, send you a fixed copy pre-App Store and check with you that it works on your system and with the video files you’re using.
I came across 5DtoRGB via the GH2 hacking site personal-view.com and soon updated to the batch version. It’s fast, easy to use and converts GH2 footage to good looking ProRes. It also helped me out with Sony A7s files – still being in a FCP7 state of mind and pre-Resolve and unwilling to spend cash on dodgy looking converters.
If you need it, I highly recommend it and the people who run the company are great.
